U13 A Details / Schedule / Teams
2021-10-08Below is the schedule for the U13A selection process. At the end of these evaluations on October 17th, the U13A team will be posted that evening on the PCMHA Website.
Players are asked to come to the PCWC no more than 30 minutes prior to the start of their ice time and are also encouraged to come partly dressed. Players will be required to proceed directly to their designated dressing room to put the remainder of their gear on. Players will be required to leave the PCWC immediately after their evaluation session ends. Masks must be worn at all times while inside the PCWC unless the player is on the ice.
Parents are asked to drop their player off at the front of the rink no more than 30 minutes prior to their ice time.
Evaluations are always a busy time and this is to ensure the safety of everyone involved in the evaluation process. It is important that all parents and players familiarize themselves with COVID-19 procedures and guidelines outlined by the Hockey NS. These will be strictly enforced during the evaluation process.
Tryout Schedule and Player Release Details
PHASE 1
Players will be released after Sunday’s Inter-squad games. A list will be posted on the PCMHA website Sunday Evening with new inter-squad teams
Players that are released during all stages of the U13A evaluations will be placed on U13C teams.
PHASE 2
Players will be released after Friday’s Inter-squad game. A list will be posted on the PCMHA website Friday Evening and emails will be sent with rosters for the two exhibition games in the next phase.
PHASE 3
A home and home will be played with another association; the home game will either be on the Saturday or Sunday ice time listed above. Away game on opposite day pending scheduling.
At the conclusion of Phase 3, the U13A team will be selected and posted on the PCMHA website Sunday, October 17th.
First practice will be on Monday, October 18th in Pictou from 6:00pm to 7:00pm.

Team 1 Green
Team 2 Orange
Team 3 Grey
