PCMHA Jersey Policy 2018-2019
2019-02-04PCMHA Jersey Policy 2018-2019 - Care and Maintenance
PCMHA Competitive Teams will be loaned two sets of jerseys (home and away), and Peewee to Midget C Divisions will receive one set of jerseys at the start of each season and are required to return these at the end of the season. Teams should appoint an individual who will be responsible to manage the care, maintenance, distribution, and collection of the jerseys throughout the season.
Players are responsible to wash and care for the assigned jerseys. Jersey cleaning should always be done in cold water as hot water affects the integrity of the jersey, and please use low heat or preferably hang to dry. Game jerseys are not to be worn in practices, or at any time other than game situations or approved team functions. Jerseys will be the responsibility of the individual player and team and must be returned in a similar condition at the end of the year, except for normal wear. Note: Tears, cuts, burns, glue adhesive, rips, etc. are not considered normal wear and the cost of a replacement jersey will be the responsibility of the individual player.
Name bars, Captain “C” and Assistant “A”, are permitted. There are two options for installation and removal:
Option 1.) Name bars and letters must be professionally attached to, and professionally removed from the jersey.
Option 2.) Name bars and letters must be installed and removed by one qualified and appointed team representative to ensure consistency and longevity of the jerseys.
No glue or adhesive of any type is to be used on the jerseys to install name bars or letters.
Name Bars and letters must be sewn so that they can be removed without damaging the jersey.
Name Bar and Lettering Colors and sizes for all PCMHA Competitive Teams must be as follows:
Failure to adhere to the above jersey policy or lost jerseys shall result in the player being charged a replacement fee.
It is the individual team’s decision if they choose to install and have name bars attached to the jerseys, not mandatory.
PCMHA is pleased to issue the new Jersey Policy, and any teams wishing to adopt and take advantage of the above outlined protocol, are welcome to do so immediately.
Thank you very much for your support.
