Ballantyne Fuels PeeWee AAA Crushers split with Bearcats
2015-02-11This past weekend the Ballantyne Fuels PeeWee AAA Crushers faced off against the Truro Bearcats.
On Saturday the crew travelled to Truro where the locals fell short losing 4-2. Blake Kontuk and Connor MacLeod scored with MacLean Tobin picking up the assist. Brayden
Leblanc was strong in goal.
On Sunday, the boys dug deep and worked hard earning a 4-3 victory. Kontuk had a hat trick and Sam Hickey found the back of the net with Cal Maxner(2), Scott Long, Nole Chapman, Tobin, Hickey and Kontuk earning assists. Keegan Walker was solid between the pipes.
This weekend the team is off and encourage the community to come to the Wellness Centre and support the two local Bantam teams participating in the Bantam Memorial Tournament.
