On Saturday, at the Wellness Centre, in their first game, the Crushers showed they have great potential by getting stronger each shift and playing like a team. The Crushers were trailing 3-1 going into the third period, but dug deep and came away with a 4-3 victory. Scoring for the Crushers were Scott Long, MacLean Tobin, Blake Kontuk and Ethan MacDonald with Kontuk and Ryan Alexander earning assists. Brayden LeBlanc had a terrific game, making key saves throughout the game. On Sunday, the crew travelled to Antigonish and came out strong, but after 2 periods, the Bulldogs had a 2-0 lead.
